Dr. Angela J. Bremer completed her undergraduate work at Bemidji State University and Normandale Community College, where she studied basic sciences. After completing her courses she was then accepted to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. After four years of intensive study and chiropractic internship in three health centers around Bloomington, she graduated in the spring of 2005. Dr. Angela returned home to the Bemidji area to start her practice in the heart of downtown.
She and her husband, Philip, have two healthy children Mariah (13) and Cole (10). Throughout her pregnancies she discovered the importance of being under chiropractic care and continuing that care for a lifetime of health and wellness. Dr. Angela and her family see a chiropractor on a weekly basis to ensure their nervous systems are clear and stress-free. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and she is continually striving to teach the world about chiropractic. "My mission is to create a healthier, happier world, one life at a time," says Dr. Angela.
Dr. Angela Bremer was recognized as the Chiropractor of the Month for October 2008 by Chiropractic Leadership Alliance (CLA). As part of the award, Dr. Bremer recorded an “On-Purpose” taping which is distributed to chiropractors across the nation. When interviewed Dr. Bremer was asked to share with other chiropractors her secret to success. “One thing that comes to mind is the word perseverance. I think small business owners would agree that opening and operating a business has many challenges,” says Bremer.
“The death of my father this past spring was a very difficult time for me and my family. However, I persevered and now I feel like I am even more focused on creating a healthier happier world. My mission is to educate the Bemidji community on the principals of health and wellness. I am here to change lives, and that is why I get up and come to work everyday,” says Bremer.
Dr. Bremer is also recognized in her community for health education such as workshops, the Bemidji Wellness Challenge, and Kid’s Day America.
